One month before your event
Need a hair cut? How is the time! Need a touch up on colour? Time that accordingly with your regular stylist
Let Gloss Studio know if you have permanent extensions minuim two weeks prior to the day of your event for booking and timing purposes.
Salon Extension Prep Option : Please arrange this with Gloss Studio ahead of time to prep and style your extensions. Extension prep will cost $30 in addition to any booked service and consists of washing, conditioning, drying, and styling your extensions to be ready for your appointment.
The day before your event
✔ Wash your hair the night before.
✔ Blow dry your hair and aim for it to be as straight and smooth as possible. Please do not come to your appointment with wet hair unless you have arranged a blow dry service in advance.
✔ Avoid use of curling irons, flat irons, or excessive hair products.
Extension Prep at Home
New: If you are using new extensions, they need to be washed prior to use. Please do not use any conditioner on them, shampoo only. Lay them flat to dry.
Previously Used: If your extensions have been previously used, please make sure there is not too much product build up on them. If there is, please wash them following the instructions above.
Day of your event check list
✔ Wear a button down top or top that won't require you to pull over your head.
✔ Come to appointment with clean dry hair
✔ Bring inspiration pictures or provide them prior to your appointment to ensure your stylist is ready to help you achieve your hair goals.
✔ Bring hair extensions and or hair accessories
There is no additional fee for clip-in installation the day of, but extra time is required for scheduling purposes. Failure to give notice may result in your extensions not being used or your appointment being moved to the end of the schedule last minute to accommodate timing.
One month before your event
Spray tans - Would only recommend a spray tan by a professional and not a self-applied “tan”
Eye brows - Refrain from waxing anything less than 3 days prior to the wedding or special event
Facials - Refrain from any facials less then 3 days prior to the wedding or special event
The day of your event
✔ Wash your skin and moisturize the day of your event
✔ Let the artist know if you have any skin or product allergies
✔ Wear a button down top or top that won't require you to pull over your head
✔ Bring inspiration pictures or provide them prior to your appointment to ensure your stylist is ready to help you achieve your hair goals
Should I bring my own lipstick and or lip gloss? We recommend having your own preferred lipstick color and blotting powder for touch ups throughout the day/evening
Will you put on lashes I bring? Yes! No charge if you are getting your makeup done. For a fee of $15 if there is no makeup application being done
What if I have lash extensions? Lash extensions do not affect the artist ability to glam you up.
