RESPONSE TO COVID 19
NEW SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Before you come in...
Please make sure you have filled out and submitted the Health Analysis Form prior to coming into the salon. This form will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to your appointment - if you have not yet received the form in an e-mail you may also click here to access it at any time. In the case that you do become ill, please call the salon directly as you will not be allowed in and will be required to reschedule an appointment after 14 days or are able to submit and negative covid test within 72 hours of your appointment.
When you arrive at the salon, text 905-232-9444 and wait in your car/outside while I finish my current client and/or sanitize the work area. I will contact you when it is safe to come in.
I am only allowed ONE guest in the salon at a time. Please do not bring anyone with and arrange childcare ahead of time.
I ask that you please bring a mask with you to your appointment. If we are doing colour, make sure you don't mind getting colour on the mask as I cannot ensure the spread of product nor if the hair dye will come off. If you do not have one, I am happy to provide a mask for you (please keep in mind these are only for customers who do not already have one due to extenuating circumstances).
Cash will NOT be accepted for the foreseeable future. Debit, credit and e-transfer are the only accepted methods of payment at this time. You can add me ahead of time as an e-transfer payee with the email before your appointment,
There will be no beverages or snacks offered in the salon at this time. Please do not bring any food or drinks with you as well.
Please leave any large personal items in the car.
Before we start ...
Your temperature must be taken upon arrival in the salon. Don't worry, its touch-less!
Clean surfaces are key! Please ensure that you completely wash and/or sanitized your hands prior to coming into the salon. If possible, please do not bring your purse and/or any other large items into the salon. Surfaces such as cellphones, tablets and laptops must be wiped down and sanitized upon arrival.
We have a few new forms to fill out before we proceed, these are intake and consultations forms for my records, but we will need some extra time together during your appointment. I appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition!
What to expect of me...
The above practices and procedures will also be in place for every client, including myself!
Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, gloves and masks not only are provided for clients but will be strictly used by myself.
A 15 min proper sanitation and disinfection of my work area after each client (please make sure to book this when using online booking).
A new cape or gown will be provided for every client and will be washed and securely stored daily.
Mask and face shield must be worn at all times.
Any additional regulations mandated by Heath Canada will be put into place as needed. Note: I will be keeping up to date with what the province is noting for Hair Salons.
These changes are kind of big and necessary, but you can still expect the same Lindsay who has your safety and beautiful hair desires in mind!
