Extension Contract

Note: this is only a copy of the Gloss Studio Hair Extension Contract and does not constitute as a written agreement between any parties and Gloss Studio.

  1. The client cannot hold the stylist or hair extension company responsible for any loss of natural hair. As the client, you confirm that you understand that natural hair shedding is normal and expected when your extensions are removed, and it is the hair that you would have lost naturally.

 

  1. There are no exchanges on hair extensions once the hygiene seal is removed from the package.

 

  1. There are no refunds on hair extension application fees.

 

  1. You confirm that if you find hair extensions uncomfortable, you are responsible for the cost of removing them. Hair extensions will then be given to client to take home.

 

  1. The installing stylist will ensure you are happy and agreeable with colour(s) of the hair extensions purchased prior to applying them. If there is an error on behalf of the stylist this error will be correct at no cost to the client. Note: A change of mind about a colour or other extension aspect does not constitute a correction due to error. Therefore, adjustments will be treated as a new service.

 

  1. If colouring or toning is necessary to the extensions, the cost of the colouring service will be in addition to the cost of the extensions and will be paid on the day of application.

 

  1. If at any time a section of weft becomes loose, the client is welcome to have the loosened area sewn tighter at no additional cost. Please note, moving an entire row after expect growth time does not constitute as a loose section and will be billable accordingly to maintenance packages and cost found on our website.

 

  1. A non-refundable deposit of 50% + tax of the total extension service fee is required prior to booking your extension application appointment.  You may rebook your appointment up to 48 hours before the original appointment time without any fee, cancellation within the 48 threshold is billable at $200.00 + tax prior to rebooking.

 

  1. The remainder of extension fee + tax, and or any additional fee(s) prior discussed / provided is due the day of application. Our application packages include the cost of cutting and styling of the extensions to blend only.

 

  1. Maintenance appointments do not require a deposit. Ordering new extensions will require a deposit but not a new contract. All left over hair is owned by the client and can be stored in salon or taken home.  Note: we do not recommend taking hair home.  

 

  1. You may rebook your maintenance appointment up to 24 hours before the original appointment time without any fee, cancellation within the 24 threshold is billable depending on maintenance package booked.
